New? It’s called weaving and there’s a huge old community of weavers just like there are knitters, crocheters, calligraphers, hand letterers, sewers, etc. (I do them all) πŸ™‚

this is funny calling it new. My ex-mother-in-law Catherine Curtis(God rest her soul) used to weave rugs just like this. Sometimes she used plastic bread sacks.
