Boooooo. Instead of giving the poor animal a hand she just picked up her phone and video it. This hoomans are so heartless. I cant believe it, the squirrel was obviously exhausted.

Please respect and adore all animals. Don't eat them or wear them.

Came here to see all the vegans telling us meat eaters how awful we are. (Even though this is a squirrel with barely ANY meat on it) Wasn't let down. Thanks for being annoying. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

It's actually a male.... He's stealing those babies for food... It's a well known fact that this is the normal behaviour of male squirrels protecting there territory... Nice story but sad mother nature ending...

I have a pair of squirrels that made a nest this Winter in a pile of boxes on my 3rd floor apartment porch. I didn't have the heart to remove it because I knew there wasn't anywhere else for them to go. Now I am wondering what to do because in two months they are going to have babies in that box and I will be having baby squirrels running around my porch come June, lol.

Better mom than most human moms.

Haha, I hate to point this out but squirrels actually steal and devour their neighbor’s children in order to feed their own.

I WISH "HUMAN" MOTHERS WILL BE AS PROTECTIVE OF THEIR BABIES AS THIS SQUIRREL.

Nice to see a squirrel mom doing well and moving her kids into a better tree...I hear the new tree has better schools and better acorn opportunities.

Came here to see people get angry at people for not providing the squirrel any type of food/water

My father saw a mother squirrel moving her babies, one by one, traveling over the cable wires. All of a sudden the baby feel out of her mouth and my father heard her shriek when her baby fell. My father went to the baby, but it was dead, People believe they are dumb animals, but this mother squirrel agonized over the loss of her baby.

I felt bad because I witnessed this a few years ago. A mother was transporting her babies and branch made her and all of the babies fall, luckily the babies landed in the soft grass but the poor mama was on the road. Her head hit the pavement to hard. I put the babies in an empty pepsi box then took them in my house in a room away from my 6 (now 4) kitties and 3(now 1) dogs. I fed them each with a tiny petco bottle I used to feed baby kittens along with formula. I also cleaned 2 out of 4 of their bloody noses. All 4 later went to a sanctuary to be taken care of. They were cute little things but one of them, I named him squealer, screamed unless he was held close.

We heard great exitement in the backyard one morning. All the birds were alarming.we looked out and saw a very big owl that had landed in a squirrel's nest and was shredding it. It would pull out a baby and fly away , then, return for another one. Terrible for the squirrels , but, obviously a natural occurrence.

We had a outside cat that the neighbor threw out so we took her in and fed her and took care of her but she stayed outside anyway she was pregnant when she came to our house because he didn't get her fixed before he kicked her out and she had her babies across the street at the neighbors house... so we were waiting one day for her and she brought the babies over to a place we had set up on the patio but apparently she didn't like it.. she took those babies one by one by the Scruff of their neck and took them off to a place in the back of the shed for a while till they got older then she brought them back to the house... it was cute watching her they were tiring her out LOL

Awww poor mama is so tired.. squirrels are so awesome ☺️ as a proud squirrel mama / rescuer this makes me so happy to see people respecting her and giving her space to do her thing! I love when they just sprawl out, our rescue squirrel does it and it’s just the cutest thing.

OMGOODNESS...how precious...I just love watching our neighborhood squirrels...there is so much foot traffic going by where I usually put their peanuts that now I toss them out my bedroom window onto the roof...trouble is, now the ravens come when they see them...they share tho...I have watched them play together in the field across the street...

Squirrels lay on their bellies when they're trying to cool down. Poor little thing was overheated from all that running.

There is one at BARTS hospital grounds that comes along and begs for food. He will even take the food... peanuts and bread...and crisps from my hands sit next to me while he eats and awaits more food. He is called Colin.

Listen my husband and I watched this happen at small park across from our home. We would go over several times a week after dinner and enjoy the trees and flowers. At first we didnt know what was going on but after a closer look we saw the babies. Well needless to say she did not like us watching her. That thing rose up on it's hind legs, puffed out her chest, rounded her shoulders, and I swear she grew several inches. My husband said and I quote. "You better run she is looking directly at you". Needless to say it is beautiful park I view it from my living room window.

I had a mama cat who continually moved 9 babies. Poor thing wore herself out trying to hide them from me. I finally stopped looking for them to give her a rest. Eventually she brought them all to the back door like she was saying " can you help me out here"

Every mother has the same rest move don't front like yall never flopped your asses down on the bed, couch or floor before, LOL, poor thing, may the trees always stay.

We have a squirrel that does this almost every year. She moves them out of our neighbors tree across the street to our front yard, and then a few weeks later she moves them to a tree in our backyard. Expanding the nursery as the babies grow, perhaps? Lol
