My favorite was when the kid and his babysitter, Melissa Joan Hart, went to stay with his aunts' and the little boy ghost says, "I'm cold." Also, when the chameleon switched places with the real girl. Tia & Tamara.

I still think the pool ghost was the scariest one i can only imagine how the little kids were watching that episode when it aired hahah kids now a day would be like wtf 8 yr olds watched this and went to sleep after hahaha😂

I'm literally re-watching the series now! You can catch them here. You're welcome. archive.org

The one where they got stuck in the mall (which turned out to be a pinball game), and the chick that was a doll scared the mess out of me. 😂

Am I the only one who would pretend I was on the show and pick up dirt and say the title of my scary story and then throw the dirt into thin air 😂

This is my opinion on the whole thing...I grew up with both this and goosebumps. and while I enjoyed goosebumps for what it was, I prefer AYAOTD more cause it was much scarier for me growing up. When I heard they were doing a goosebumps movie I was very skeptical for many reasons including them casting Jack black as r.l.stine. and as it turned out i was right, turned out to be a dud, so horrible. After seeing this post, I'm feeling the same again but not as much. Here's the thing, this has the potential to be a great movie, a great horror movie. This cannot be a kids movie like goosebumps, this has to be for the adults like me who grew up in that era as a child. I want to be freaked out and scared like I was watching this in the 90s. Once again This is only my opinion on it.

This beats Goosebumps any day of the week.

Here's the problem with all these "remakes" of 90's shows. They are still marketing them for kids. That's why studios keep losing money on them. That's what happened with the goosebumps movie and the power ranger reboot (both of which I enjoyed mind you). If you're gonna remake something from 20-30 years ago your original fan base is grown up, if you want to capitalize on the original fans the premise has to grow up with them. Had they made goosebumps r rated it could've been crazy, same with the power rangers. These studios are trying to be greedy by banking on the old fans and trying to make it for today's kids also, these kids today generally don't know what goosebumps is or the original power rangers so they don't care about it and it's so watered down that the adults feel robbed from what could've been awesome.

My fav two episodes were The tale of watchers woods, with the three sisters that went to camp but turned into ugly old witches and also the one were the girl went to stay with her cousin and the house next door was haunted and the little girl had been trapped in that house for years and she would write HELP ME on the wall!

There is a fan theory that the kids from The Midnight Society were actually ghosts themselves. I wonder if they will work this into the movie. It would be cool.

The intro alone use to creep me out as a kid. Definitely preferred this show over Goosebumps.

Does anyone remember the story where it shows a boy riding his bike and he falls into a canal with raging water and he body was never found? That was one of my favorites. Im 28 now and I loved watching this show and goosebumps back in the 90's

The one with Tia and Tamera was weird but the one that scared me the most was the pool ghost monster. Fuck! My swim coach couldn’t figure out why none of us wanted to swim the next practice 😂

THis is pretty kewl but I wish they would air the old series back on TV :/ it just won't be the same

I just hope they don’t go the route of the Goosebumps movie... These shows were anthology series. Much like Black Mirror or American Horror Story

I'm trying to figure out which show this is: I think it was an episode from a show like this one or goosebumps. A young girl lives with her cruel parents who treated her like dirt. Her best friends were two cute rats which she found were extra terrestrials..they ended up making the parents become their rat body's and they took the human parents body's. Little girl and 'parents' lived happily ever after. Please help me find this!!

We just held the official AYAOTD reunion in Toronto and it was so amazing that it scares me to think how hollywood will fuck this up. Leave our childhoods alone

I watched half of the video then was like "I should turn this off. I'm about to go to sleep." How old am I?

That moment when you wanted to startup your own Midnight Society because of how good this series was. After seeing “IT”, I have a bit of hope that this’ll turn out good too.

I used to stay at my grandparents' house every Saturday night and I'd watch Snick in the kitchen and they'd watch Dr. Quinn in the living room. As soon as that was over, my grandma would come out and sit with me through the spooky opening because it scared the crap of of me. And even though most of the episodes scared me, only a handful of times did I really freak out. I was 5-9ish years old when the show was on.

Dan Smiley But whom is going to play the crucial characters of the, ‘midnight society’, which will maybe get 10 minutes of screen time? 🤔

Ironically, I have been rewatching all of my favorite episodes when I was a kid on YouTube. I loved this show!

Sometimes when they do reboots they dont turn out so great but if the director of the "IT" remake is gonna do it, I know it's gonna be creepy as hell. I'm looking forward to what they come up with.

Hopefully it will be better than the goosebumps movie - that one was alright but its hard when it has a huge following and its an episodic series to cram into 1 movie - unless they plan of a series of movies .. Itd be better if they did a series remake instead

I always watched this and then Alfred Hitchcock on nick at night, and I can honestly say this gave me the frights and the boogleies more. So cool!
