I love art and i hope that i will be able to live from it someday to :) Art have so much faces and is so relaxing to do and of course all the emotions people feel while looking at a piece of art. Art is my passion! :) I'm self taught and started to draw and paint 6-7 years ago when i was 16. :) This drawing is nearly two years old and even i improved much, it's still one of my favorite drawings :3 even if it have not much details and depth....i still like it :) I use so much different material, pencils, copics, watercolor, ink, acryl, oil and digitaly :3 My fb site is BlackLightning's Art and my instagram is blacklightnings_art :D

Someone asked why they couldn't paint like this back in the day. I think the comment got deleted or I'm just silly and can't find it again. Anyway, here's my abbreviated and simplified answer. A lot of it has to do with paint and pigments. They didn't have synthetic paints. They had to use natural pigments and mix the colors they wanted. Then you had to factor in the paint consistency. Now paint is a fairly consistent thickness. Back then they had to deal with different thicknesses for each color and each artist had their own methods of mixing and thinning out their paint. Then there is just pure age. Paint doesn't age well if it wasn't mixed right. Have you see photos of before and after a restoration? You should look them up. Some of the artists were super detailed like this considering what they had to work with, but the details became blurry or corrupted with age. It's really cool watching a painting being restored and suddenly all these new details pop up.

Here’s a drawing of mine I really like. I normally do marker but I’ve been trying colored pencil. I’ve been drawing for YEARS and used it as a coping method for a lot of stuff.

Regardless how she does it, her painting is a beautiful work of art. Good luck Lena and may you find the success in what you do!!!

I just want to say to all the artists posting about how her work makes you feel bad about yours: I’ve been there and back, and remember that what you have to offer is completely unique and yours alone. What you choose to create only adds to the beauty in this world. Embrace her work, and your own. Go paint.

I was just thinking she maybe a good make-up artist too. Lol! Really know about contouring. Very talented. As if the lady was floating in the water for real.

I’m also self-taught, but I’m rubbish at painting. I’m better at illustrations using pens and pencils. Or even digital. I wish I had the patience required to paint like that.

She's the first ever artist I've ever watched in Youtube when I was also starting in oil painting. She's great and really has a wonderful personality ☺️

The fbvideo.com is a website where you can collect and download Facebook videos for free. The videos can be downloaded straight from Facebook and users can download them in an mp4 format in HD or SD. The latter one is a smaller sized mp4 format. The mp4 format can be played on basically all players and it is one of the most popular video formats, so playing it cannot cause too much of a problem.

Important: fbvideo.com works with the Facebook Graph API but other than that, it has nothing to do with the social media website. The videos can be found on the servers of Facebook.
