Sense of smells are often over looked. They can settle nerves giving a feeling of well being. They can help activate your level of hunger and appetite in older adults. Trigger memories forgotten. Improve relaxation. I totally believe we should look into the power of fragrance more than we do in healthcare.

like the time I caught the ferry over to Shelbyville. I needed a new heel for my shoe, so, I decided to go to Morganville, which is what they called Shelbyville in those days. So I tied an onion to my belt, which was the style at the time. Now, to take the ferry cost a nickel, and in those days, nickels had pictures of bumblebees on 'em. Give me five bees for a quarter, you'd say. Now where were we? Oh yeah: the important thing was I had an onion on my belt, which was the style at the time. They didn't have white onions because of the war.

This baby is obviously quite small yet I can literally see what he will look like at 7/8 years old. It's making my brain confused. He has such an expressionate face. Cute!

This is a usual practice here in the Philippines.๐Ÿ˜ŠWhen the mother needs to go out, the last shirt that she wore is usually left beside the baby so the baby wonโ€™t notice that her mother is not around. โ˜บ๏ธ

True fact, when mother day during birth doctors tell the partner not to wash they clothing eg why when baby is sick or restless, dads wear a item of her cloths and the smell gives baby comfort actually works.

My daughter, when she was little, used to love sleeping in my tshirts. When her dad asked her why, she said "because they smell like mommy." It was calming for her. She never had a blankie, she always had one of my tshirts to hold onto.

Awwww I worked in a private Day nursery and one of the Mum's would pin a small square of material to her little girls dress so she could smell her Mum's perfume throughout the day ! ๐Ÿ˜ข

My son as a toddler used to carry around one of my T-shirt nighties as a security blanket. Gorgeous video, lovely to see how much comfort the shirt gave.
